![]() Changing the settings of the router to USA (to match the cast device) appears to have resolved for me.įor Netgear: Wifi settings>Network>Region = United States. I speculated that as my router and I are in Hong Kong, the cast device is in a region it isn't designed to be in maybe the cast device wasn't registering the name reliably. I wonder if Spotify try identify devices using names as opposed to another, more reliable means. also display in the list, such as Google Cast, AirPlay, and Bluetooth devices. Check all of the following: Connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the device you're casting from Your TV is set to the HDMI channel your Chromecast device is connected to The TV is turned on and you can see the Chromecast home screen Once your Chromecast is ready, you can start casting your Spotify music. *This final one may have worked: whenever I noticed the device was missing in the Spotify app, I also noticed the device name (not the MAC address) was missing on the actual router tables. Favorite playlists do not sync between Spotify and the Crestron Home app. Had no troubles setting up spotify nor the chromecast however combining them isnt working. ![]() I did a clean install couple of days ago to the latest version.
